How to Import Divi Section JSON File into Divi Library

Step 1: Go to Divi Library

  • In your WordPress Dashboard, go to:
    Divi > Divi Library

Step 2: Click on the “Import & Export” Button

  • At the top of the Divi Library page, click the “Import & Export” button.

  • This opens the Portability popup.

Step 3: Import the JSON File

  • In the popup, switch to the “Import” tab.
  • Click “Choose File” and select your .json file (example: hero-section.json).
  • (Optional) Check “Override existing layouts” if you want to replace anything with the same name.
  • Click the “Import Divi Builder Layouts” button.

Once Imported:

  • You’ll see the new section added to your Divi Library list.

  • Now you can use it on any page by:

    • Clicking “Add From Library” when adding a new section in Divi Builder.
